General Ledger Operations Manager
Main responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing a team of 80+ General Accountants servicing global entities.
- Hire, mentor, manage performance and develop the team.
- Become main point of contact for the Customer in all aspects of service delivery.
- Be responsible for ensuring contractual SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Act as an escalation point for the Customer.
- Drive automation and transformation for the Customer tools and implement process improvements.
- Have P&L ownership and be responsible for forecasting to measure cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key customer contacts and work on continuous client satisfaction improvement.
Person Specifications
- Proven experience in managing 50+ FTEs team within BPO/SSC environment.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Strong process experience in accounting processes, General Ledger preferred.
- IFRS and US GAAP experience would be an advantage.
- Data driven mind-set and business acumen.
- Process migrations & change management experience.
- Outstanding communication and presenting skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in developing of performance & compliance metrics.
- University degree in Finance & Accounting or related areas, additional accounting certification would be an advantage (ACCA, CIMA, others).
- Advanced knowledge of MF Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
